100 Down…..
So earlier this month I hit my mark of losing over 100 pounds. It has been a little emotional hitting this milestone. I don’t recall the last time I was this weight. I remember a time in the 90s when I dropped a lot of weight while working at Target. I recall one day seeing my best friend’s girlfriend at work wearing MY shirt. My friend had borrowed it and then let her wear it to work. That was a feeling that has always stuck with me.
I now am wearing a XLT shirts, I also have been able to pick up clothes at regular stores recently. The simple joys of being able to just pick up normal-sized clothes is amazing.
I’m excited about my summer, I would like to do some traveling. Get out and enjoy myself in new places. I picked up a tent last night that attaches to my SUV. So I could easily tent, not sleep on the ground, and still drive away if I need to.
